How i made our abstract christmas trees.

Aunque apenas empezamos el mes de diciembre, existen muchas actividades que puedes hacer tu mismo en temas de decoración para la Navidad, una de ellas y mi favorita es hacer arboles de navidad de carton.

Aunque es sumamente sencillo, aquí te dejo el tutorial y algunas ideas para forrarlos.

Although we just started the month of December, there are many activities that you can do yourself in terms of decorating for Christmas, one of them and my favorite is to make cardboard Christmas trees with lining.

Que necesitaras:

Regla con medidas

Carton de calibre fino

Silicon caliente

Tijeras

Lapiz

Cuerda

Tela o cualquier elección para forrar.

PASOS:

What you will need:

Ruler with measurements

Fine cardboard

Hot silicon

Scissors

Pencil

Rope

Fabric or any choice for lining.

STEPS:

Definir la altura re tus arboles. Y esto es muy de percepción, pues dependerá de donde quieras ubicarlos.

Define the height of your trees. And this is very perceptual, as it will depend on where you want to place them.

Una vez definas la altura de estos podrás iniciar el proceso de dibujo. Lo primero que debes tener en cuenta es que harás un semi circulo del cual obtendrás dos conos de la misma altura. La medida que dadas de alto, sera la misma que darás al lateral.

Once you define the height of these you can start the drawing process. The first thing to keep in mind is that you will make a semi circle from which you will get two cones of the same height. The measure for the high that you give, will be the same that you give to the side length.

Ahora solo debes recortar tus elementos e ir dándoles forma de cono a fin de que puedas definir donde se conectara una parte con otra para colocar el silicon.

Now you just have to cut out your elements and give them a cone shape so that you can define where one part will connect to another to place the silicone.

Colocar el silicon en la parte interna de uno de los bordes que sera pegado sobre la parte superior del otro borde.

Place the silicone on the inside of one edge that will be glued on top of the other edge.

Listo, ya tienes tu cono de navidad. Ahora solo debes definir cual sera el forro que le colocaras. Si decides que sea tela, recuerda ir dando forma a esta a fin de que parezcan las capas de las ramas del árbol, y si eliges papel, hazle ciertos movimientos y pliegues.

Ready, you already have your Christmas cone. Now you just have to define what will be the lining that you will put on it. If you decide to make it fabric, remember to shape it so that the layers look like tree branches, and if you choose paper, make certain movements and folds.
