CASA DE DOS

Muchas veces tenemos una idea y luego la plasmamos en un moodboard, como les explique en este post. Y aunque esas ideas están bien estructuradas y bien enmarcadas en un sin numero puntos por hacer para llegar a ellas, muchas veces no sucede así y por eso debemos ser resilientes.

Les digo, me inspire un montón con el moodboard de la habitación del bebe, pero entre la idea y la realidad siempre hay una diferencia que tenemos que aceptar y saber cómo enfrentarla, cosa que nos paso con esta habitación.

Lots of times we have an idea and then we put it on a moodboard, as I explained in this post. And although these ideas are well structured and well framed in countless to do points to reach them, many times it does not happen that way and that is why we must be resilient.

I was inspired a lot by the moodboard of the baby’s room, but between the idea and the reality there is always a difference that we have to accept and know how to face it, which happened to us with this room.

Lo primero que hicimos fue instalar la tramería de madera natural y nos encanto!, luego seguimos con la moldura de la pared que nos pareció un proceso tan sencillo y rápido que hasta decidimos planificar para hacerlo en toda la casa! Entre estas dos instalaciones nos tomamos unas semanas pues teníamos que definir alturas, medidas, cortes, etc, pues cabe acordarles que todo lo estamos haciendo nosotros.

Luego de esto fue momento de seleccionar la pintura, y aquí si me tome mi tiempo utilizando las técnicas que ya les había compartido en este post. Y les digo que la selección me encanto!!! 

Cuál fue la variación? una de las ideas era realizar una técnica con pintura para hacer la ilusión de  secciones de madera en la parte baja de la pared, pero debido al tiempo no pudimos lograrlo.  

Aunque en este punto se presentaron pocas variaciones, la principal fue el tiempo, pues entendíamos que nos tomaría pocos días, pero al final nos tomo semanas! pero lo logramos. Así que, queridos seguidores, aquí les dejo las fotos del primer progreso.

The first thing we did was install the natural wood paneling and we loved it! Then we continued with the wall molding, which we found to be such a simple and fast process that we even decided to plan to do it throughout the house! We took a few weeks between these two installations as we had to define heights, measurements, cuts, etc., as we must remind that we are doing everything ourselves.

After this, it was time to select the paint, and here i did took my time using the techniques that I had already shared in this post. And I loved the selection!!! its grey-ish green by Sherwin Williams.

What was the variation? One of the ideas was to make a painting technique to make the illusion of wooden vertical sections in the lower part of the wall, but due to time we could not achieve it so we had to let go of that idea.

Although at this point there were few variations, the main one was the time, because we understood that it would take us a few days, but in the end it took us weeks! but we did it. So dear followers Here are the photos of the first progress.
