CASA DE DOS

Amo decorar mi casa (y la de los demás, si me dejan, jaja), y a pesar de quisiera hacer todo de una vez, he notado que hacer las cosas poco a poco es mejor, pues podemos ir agregando toques que nunca se nos ocurrirían hace un mes. Esto me pasa con los cojines de la sala. 

Recuerdo que cuando compramos el sofa, me pesaba verlo sin nada y tenia una idea en mi cabeza de como quería decorarlo, pero mientras las fechas pasaban fui notando que la idea evolucionaba y poco a poco me gustaban mas tonos, mas texturas, y menos mal que no invertí en los cojines en aquel entonces, pues hubiese sido una perdida, pero ahora, ya con una paleta de colores mucho mas definida, pude colocar los que realmente se acomodaban a los tonos de la sala. 

I love to decorate my house (and others houses, if they let me, haha), and despite wanting to do everything at once, I have noticed that doing things little by little is better, because we can add touches that we would never think of one month ago. This happens to me with the cushions in the living room.

I remember that when we bought the sofa I was sorry to see it without anything and I had an idea in my mind of how I wanted to decorate it, but as the days passed I noticed that the idea evolved and little by little I liked more tones, more textures, and thank goodness I did not invest in the cushions back then, as it would have been a waste, but now, with a much more defined color palette, I was able to place those that really suited the tones of the room.

Para escogerlos tome en consideración 5 aspectos que muchas veces damos por sentado o sencillamente no sabemos qué hay que tener en cuenta.  

Paleta de colores de la zona: Tienes un estilo único, todos lo tenemos, y parte de que ese estilo se vea en tu casa es el color! Por ello es necesario que sepas cuales son los colores que predominan en tu sala a fin de entender tu paleta de colores, es decir cuales colores complementan a los otros. En nuestro caso la paleta que predomina es azul-cobre-bermellon por lo que cualquier variación en esos tonos es aceptable.

To choose i took into consideration 5 aspects that many times we take for granted or we simply don’t know about it.

Tamaño de los cojines: si, los cojines tienen tamaños y dependiendo de donde los coloques pueden variar desde 18”x18” – 20”x20” – 22”x22” – 24”x24” y los lumbares (alargdos) Por ello, si en tu sala tienes sofa y sillón debes tener en cuenta que el sofa puede albergar mas de dos combinaciones (en grupos de dos o tres cojines), pero el sillón solo debe tener un cojín, casi siempre un lumbar.

Pero si te sucede como a nosotros y tienes un sofa sin patrones en la tela entonces puedes jugar con conjunto de cojines donde uno se liso, otro con textura y otro con patron. Tambien puedes combinar patrones mientras uno sea mas amplio que el otro.
