Por que pintar las paredes? A pesar de que el blanco sigue siendo uno de los colores que mayor amplitud y luminosidad agrega al espacio, es muy poco sabido que existe una gama de blancos que pueden agregar profundidad a la vez que dan amplitud.

Ahora bien, si hablamos de un color diferente al blanco, la respuesta se queda corta. Amplitud, profundidad,direccionalidad,complementación, y lo más importante es personalidad, todas esas serían mi respuesta! Y es que el color es un determinante de todas ellas en tu espacio.

Why paint your walls? Despite the fact that white continues to be one of the colors that adds the most amplitude and luminosity to the space, it is very little known that there is a range of whites that can add depth while giving spaciousness.

Now, if we talk about a color other than white, the answer falls short. Amplitude, depth, directionality, complementation, and the most important thing is personality, all those would be my answer! And it is that the color is a determinant of them in your space.

Si te sientes motivada y quieres pintar, por donde empezar? Te diría que lo primero es que observes tu espacio, veas dónde la luz refleja más, donde menos, que colores ya tienes establecidos con el mobiliario, objetos decorativos y demás. En nuestro caso, el enorme ventanal de la sala permite que la luz entre constantemente por lo que podíamos pintar cualquier pared sin perder claridad, pero elegimos la que conecta a las otras áreas sociales a fin de dar continuidad al espacio. PorPor ello si tu espacio solo tiene una ventana standard procura que el color que escojas atraiga esa luz y la distribuya.

Ahora bien, quieres pintar pero no te atreves por que no sabes cómo quedará?, Tranquila, también nos pasó, por ello recurrimos a las aplicaciones de pintura y escribimos todo un post para ello aquí.

Ahora que queda? Pintar, dejar secar y disfrutar!!! Nuestro color es silken peacock, con base azul y tonos de verde y magenta, lo que hacen que cambie durante el día, algo espectacular! El acabado que escogimos fue Flat pues no queríamos que reflejara y que visualmente se viera con una textura tipo velvet.y que con la limpieza? Pues es un color oscuro, y aunque la pintura mate no es de fácil limpieza, el color nos ayuda a cubrir suciedad,rayaduras y demás.

Now what is left? Paint, let dry and enjoy !!! Our color is Silken Peacock, with a blue base and shades of green and magenta, which make it change during the day, something spectacular! The finish we chose was Flat because we didn’t want it to reflect and we loved that visually it can be seen like a velvet texture. What about cleaning? Well, it is a dark color, and although flat paint is not easy to clean, the color helps us to cover dirt, scratches and others.
